Who are we ...
The Great Britain Ice Hockey Supporters Club (GBSC) was founded in 1991 with the aim of assisting like minded fans to support Great Britain at minimal cost.
 GBSC is the only national ice hockey team supporters club in the world.
GBSC has grown over the years and now has around 500 members. We are able, through fund raising activities, to provide sponsorship to the Great Britain teams at Senior (Men and Women), under 20 and Under 18 level. Since GBSC's foundation it has provided in excess of £25,000 for the GB programme.
What do we do ...
Every year GBSC organise trips to support GB teams wherever they are competing and at whatever level. Amongst the countries we have visited are Denmark, Hungary, Slovenia, Croatia, Austria, Norway, Poland, Slovakia, Ukraine, Italy, France and Holland.
The trips are a good chance to forge new friendships and renew old ones. Fun is had by one and all with the chance to watch good standard hockey and support your country.
This season (2007/8) the GB Teams will be playing in the following locations, with GBSC organising trips to all of these competitions :
The Great Britain Senior Men's Team will travel to Innsbruck in Austria for the 2008 Division 1 Group B World Championships. Great Britain will be in the group which has Kazakstan, Netherlands, Korea, Poland and Austria. The tournament will take place from 13th to 19th April.
The U20 team will travel to Riga in Latvia for their Division 1 World Championships from 12th to 18th December. The Championships will be held in the new Arena Riga. Other teams in the group with GB are Slovenia, Hungary, Belarus, France and Latvia.
The u18 team will travel to Premia in Estonia for their Division II Group B World Championships. The tournament runs from the 23rd to 28th March 2008 and also features Romania, Israel, Spain, Hungary and Estonia.
The GB Womens Team will be participating in the Women's World Championships in Miskolc in Hungary from the 6th to 12th April. GB will face Korea, Belgium, Croatia, Slovenia and Hungary.
