Who Are the Peterborough Phantoms
The Peterborough Phantoms were launched as the city’s Senior Ice Hockey Team in June 2002.
Based at Planet Ice in Bretton, they aim compete in the English Premier League. Fixtures are played predominantly at home on Sunday evenings, with a small number of Saturday and mid-week home fixtures aswell. The Ice Hockey season starts in September and ends at the Play-Off Finals in April.
The Phantoms opposition competing in the English Premier League are from Milton Keynes, Chelmsford, Romford, Isle of Wight, Slough, Bracknell, Guildford, Swindon, Hull, Telford and Sheffield.
The Phantoms won the League in 2002/3 and were runners-up in 2003/4. They won the EPL Cup in 2002/3 and 2003/4. They were Play-Off Runners-Up in 2002/3, 2004/5 and were Semi-Finalists in 2003/4 and 2006/7.
During the season it is planned to bring a number of International and Elite League Teams to Planet Ice in specially arranged challenge matches.
Phantoms Assistant Coach Jon Kynaston is the current Great Britain Under 20 Assistant Coach.
The core of the team is made up of locally trained players who have progressed through the excellent Peterborough Youth Development Policy and will be supported by a further four International players from Canada and Europe. In 2005/6 a number of Peterborough Players helped the Great Britain Under 18 and Great Britain Under 20 teams to win Gold Medals at the World Championships.
As with most other sports, opportunities exist for sponsorship and corporate entertainment. Ice Hockey is the best attended indoor sport in the country and is recognised as family entertainment that offers fantastic value for money.

- All sponsors will have their name, contact details and company logo featured on the clubs Official Internet Website. The site attracts an average of 600 visits a day (avg 24,000 hits), with a monthly average of 16,000 visits (avg 720,000 hits).
Sponsorship Opportunities
VIP Boxes.
The Peterborough Phantoms have a number of VIP Boxes available.
There are three boxes available and these seat from 12 - 30 people.
The cost of hiring one of the boxes for a whole season is :
12 seat box = £3,500
20 seat box = £5,000
30 seat box = £7,000
These costs include a Finger Buffet at each game, Advertising Board at the Rink aswell as an Advert in each matchnight Programme throughout the whole season.
Matchnight Sponsorship
A host managed facility for 12-30 people to enjoy a match including match programmes, Company name mentioned in the programme and through the PA during the game. The match sponsor chooses the Man of the Match award on the ice at the end of the game.

Equipment Sponsorship
The Phantoms have a number of advertising positions available on the player equipment.
Aswell as being visible to thousands of supporters around the country, on-kit advertising allows your name to be seen on many of the published Phantoms photos accompanying the clubs news stories and match reports.

Shoulder Patches (1 on each shoulder) (Front) - £2,000 each

Arms, upto 3 patches per arm - £1,000 each
Player Shorts
Two 6 Inch patches, one on each leg (Front) - £1,500 each, or £2,500 for the pair
Two 6 Inch patches, one on each leg (Back) - £1,500 each, or £2,500 for the pair
One large vertical patch on the side of the shorts - £1,000 each, or £1,750 for both sides
Player Socks
Patch on the front or back of the Socks - £750 or £1,100 for the pair.

Full size logos on both sides of the world famous "Zamboni" ice machine - £2,500
