Phantoms Awards Success

The Peterborough Phantoms Junior and Senior setup enjoyed success on Friday night at the Evening Telegraph 2007 Sports Awards when they walked away with 5 awards from their 6 nominated categories.

Forward Brent Gough walked away with the Sportsman of the year award and was runner-up in the Sports Personality of the year (won by World Darts Champion Martin Adams).

The Peterborough Phantoms won the much coveted Team of the Year Award, whilst Doug McEwen won Coach of the year for taking the Phantoms to the EPL Play-Off Finals last season.

Ian Offers was named as the Unsung Hero for all of his work for the club.

For the Juniors, Kim Lane won the Young Sports Woman of the Year for her football and Ice Hockey.
