The Peterborough Phantoms Ice Hockey Club have today announced that Shaun Yardley has been released from his contract with the club.

Shaun requested the release from his contract this evening and the club have reluctantly agreed. Shaun felt he was not getting the ice time he needed and under the current style of play this was only going to become more limited.

Shaun made over 200 appearances for the Phantoms and everyone at the club wishes him all the best for the future.
